             Rev. Clint Spivey was born and raised in the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area in Windsor, Virginia  After graduating from high school in 1997 he attended Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA.  In 2001 he received a B.S. in geology with a minor in secondary education.  In 2004 he received his Master of Divinity from Eden Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO, and in November of 2004 St. John called him as their pastor and teacher.  Rev. Spivey is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ and his ministerial standing is held with the Eastern Association of the Missouri Mid-South Conference of the United Church of Christ.

             Jenny, his wife, is a graduate of the College of William and Mary and is also a recent graduate of Eden Theological Seminary, receiving her Master of Divinity in May of 2006.  She is currently the director of Christian education at Pilgrim United Church of Christ in St. Louis.

   

             In their spare time Clint and Jennifer can often be seen cycling around St. Clair.  They also enjoy running, tennis, basketball, video games, the outdoors, and spending vacation time with their families on the New Jersey and North Carolina shores.  They currently do not have any children but hope to in the coming years. 

             Clint and Jenny reside in the St. John parsonage which is located directly adjacent to the church building.
